Watching Mickey

Uhhh...Abby. You're a little close.

This girl loves Mickey Mouse. Look how tall she's getting.

She'll crawl away for a second, then quickly realize that Mickey is still on.

She's crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything. Here's just a quick video of her crawling.

Lunch with Caleb and Niki

We had lunch a few weeks ago with Niki and Caleb. This little piece of handsome was flirting with my Abby the whole time. AND, she couldn't keep her eyes off of him either!

This is the face of a boy waiting to eat! :)

Our conversation went like this......"Abigirl, don't stare sweetheart."......

"I'm not Momma, my eyes are closed."

Group shot.
Look at Abby's face. She can NOT believe I'm holding another baby!

Caleb and his Momma

Abby is telling Caleb how she eats her puffs with only two fingers. Caleb is like "Why? It's more fun to eat as many as you can at once with your whole hand."

I think Niki had a puff in her hand here. Abby wants it and Caleb is trying to crawl out of the chair to get it for himself.

And this is the face of a little boy who ran out of puffs to eat. :(

Niki and Caleb, we love you guys so much. We MUST have lunch again soon!

Jail is Fun!!

These days, she is all over the place. She follows me around from room to room. It's precious. She gets mad at me because I'm faster than she is, but I'm sure the day will come where she will be MUCH faster than me.

In order get a few things done around the house, I told her she was going to jail. She LOVED it!!

She isn't much of a TV watcher, but she loves commercials. Here she was watching one.

Commercial is still going....

I turned the rubbermaid container over and she crawled right in it. Then sat herself down and turned around to see if I was watching. So cute.

and she's off.

I love this little girl's laugh more than anything!!!

Dear God,

the scream.....sigh. Is this a phase? Please help. Love, Jill

Here's another video Andrea took at dinner on Monday night. Besides screaming in the highest octave known to man, Abby also loves to blow bubbles.

Bananas and Chicken Gum

Here lately on days that I feel like cleaning up after her, I've been letting Abby feed herself. On this day, she had some bananas for a snack and green bean & chicken for dinner.

I think she was more interested in the bowl.

She kept saying, "Ohhhhhh" the whole time.

It was so slippery that she couldn't pick it up.

Nothing like some good old water to wash it down.

For Dinner, we tried Green Beans and Chicken. Again, she pours it out and grabs the bowl.

Surprisingly, she ate the green beans like she had been eating them her whole life. Now, the chicken......she liked it but kept chewing and chewing and chewing. She wouldn't swallow it. I think she thought it was gum! :)

"Mommy, I'll tear my own pieces up."

"Let me see this. I need to pour it out."

Yummy....

Here's a quick little video of her eating the chicken gum and green beans.

Granny's 85th Bday Party!

My Granny turned 85 years old on July 9th. I thought I better post this before she turns 86. (I'm so far behind on posting. ugh...)

Happy Birthday Granny!!

Abigirl and her Daddy

Here's the best part of any birthday party....the cake!

Aunt Ellen (bottom left) wanted me to take her and Cullen's (bottom right) picture. As soon as I took the picture, she wanted to see. She looks at it and says, "Now who is that pretty girl?" I teased her and told her she looked so good that I thought I would put this picture in the paper. She about died. I think she thought I really was going to put it in the paper.
Last Saturday, Aunt Ellen went to be with the Lord. I have many many memories of her when I was little staying with Granny and her coming over. From 42 games, to Monopoly, to Garage Sales, to picking berries in the back yard. She always made me laugh and was so fun to be around. Continue to pray for her family, our Granny and the others that will miss her.

Here's Granny with her brothers and sisters that were able to make it to the party.

The group pictures begin....here's Mama's brother and sisters.....and the water fountain. The fountain was pretty much in ALL group shots.

Here's a group shot of all the Party Attenders!

I love this one. It's the Grand and Great-Grand kids.
I'm glad at least 3 people were paying attention.

One of Granny's gifts was a family tree.
I must say the tree was a pretty big tree.

And lastly, my wonderful cousin, Wendi was babysitter as I was finishing up. Looks like she had three little helpers as well.
