It's amazing to see how far the little "pea in a pod" has come along. Only 10 more weeks to go! I did the four hour gestational diabetes test yesterday. It completely wore me out. So now, I just sit and wait for the results. Pray with me that all is good.
Tonight we start our baby classes at the hospital. I'm really excited about them, I just hope that they don't strap us down and make us watch some type of birthing videos. I watched a couple of those videos before and just cried and cried. S 'strongly' encouraged me to NEVER watch them again. And I haven't since. As much as I say I want to know everything, I really don't.
Did you know you can get carpal tunnel syndrome while pregnant? Yep, I've got it! In both hands. It hurts to grip anything, a pen, the steering wheel, UGH.
Jessica took my maternity pictures last weekend. I'll make sure I post them as soon as they are ready.
10 more weeks to go!

Your Daddy's been working
Hey Sweet girl! - I just realized that I didn't write you a letter last month. So, this post will be for you. I can't believe in just about 10 short weeks we'll be able to hold you. I even start going to the dr. every two weeks now. Dr. Clark told me last week that you'll be here before we know it. We are so ready to see and hold you.
Did you know that you are moving around so much lately? You go crazy right after I eat something....anything. You start kicking and rolling over. It's such a sweet feeling. Your Daddy saw you kicking me this Sunday at church. I'm not sure if you were ready to leave the service or you were saying "Amen!" and raising your hands to what Pastor Gary had to say. Actually, I wasn't even listening to the pastor, I was watching you! LOL!! Either way, your Daddy was impressed with your skills. Although, neither of us are that much into soccer, I'm sure we'll be up for whatever you are into playing.
Your Daddy has been working really hard this weekend on the furniture for your room. Here's a picture of the cradle that he put together that my friend Claudia is letting us borrow. You'll sleep in this right after you are born. It matches perfectly with the furniture in our room. It does rock, which I love and I'm sure you will too. But your Daddy needs to learn how to rock it gently before we lay you in it. He was practicing this weekend and you would have seriously flown out on the couch if you were really in it.

Here's your crib!!! Your furniture will be black. It's so pretty and after he finished putting it together he did not have any extra pieces that he didn't know what to do with!

This is your dresser that he sanded down and painted black for you. Oh and he bought all new knobs for it as well. It looks so good in your room. You can also see your little car seat on the floor too. It's amazing that you have to have a $200 seat to ride in everywhere. But whatever keeps you safe!

I think that covers all the projects from this weekend. Here he is admiring his work of arts. He was really tired and sweaty by the time it was all finished!

We love you sweet girl. You keep moving around and keep growing strong. We can't wait to see you face to face in November. Oh, and by the way, Jessica is going to have a boy!! So, now it's between Jessica's baby Christopher and Niki's baby Caleb, you'll have two choices of men that you can date and eventually marry. It's not really an arranged marriage......but kinda! love you - Momma and Daddy

Only ONE Referral needed!
Please help! If any of you are thinking of switching your Home Phone, Cell Phone, Internet, or Cable and would like to switch it to AT&T, please let me know. I need one referral before Sept 30th. I'm starting to get a little nervous about this. I was never a good salesperson and this is stressing me out. So if you could be my savior, let me know!! Even if you recently switched to AT&T, please let me know that too!

29 weeks
11 more to go! Wow! That doesn't seem like many at all. I had a good visit with my dr today. Basically everything that I told her that was wrong with me she had the same response....."YEP, that happens sometimes." Things are going good. My hormones are in full swing for sure. I've had a couple of breakdowns lately, but I keep telling myself, only a couple more months. You CAN get through this. So, if you thought of walking up to me and saying, "You sure are getting big." Please just walk the other way. I'm liable to have another breakdown within seconds.

Out with the Old....In with the New
We put Stan's car up for sale about two months ago. Well, if you consider "up for sale" being a "For Sale" sign in the windows, it was up for sale. We had one person show some serious interest in it during our garage sale. Other than the random drive-thru worker asking how much we were asking for it, that was it. We were starting to think that we would just go ahead and keep it and not worry about it.
Then out of the blue we got a call from someone wanting to know more about the car. "What is the least price you take?", said the curious buyer from our neighboring country to the south. Stan answered her. Then her husband called back again the next morning, "What is the least price you take?" Stan told them they should come and look at it because he knew he was offering it at a great price because it was in such great condition. Then Stan looked outside and notice that the curious buyer WAS OUTSIDE! Kinda weird.
They went back and forth on the price and ended the conversation with Stan telling him that he got off work at 5:30pm and needed to talk to his beautiful wife....just kidding..to his wife and he would get back with him. Stan thought all day about the offer the guy was making. It was $500 less than what we said would be our lowest price. So S thought he would be the "ultimate negotiater" and offer the car for the price the guy wanted, IF he would fix our flower beds. We had just visited Lowe's the night before to purchase all the materials needed to install an edge/trim and then cut out the grass from the lawn.
Wouldn't you know it.....5:30pm exactly the doorbell rings. "You talk to your wife?" Yes, I think we can make a deal. Long story short, we all won!! We made money on the car, at 6:04 my flower beds were finished and at 6:30 our car was sold and drove away.

Here's Stan's new ride, it's a 2009 Honda Pilot.
