I laughed so hard when I realized that I put MK in practically the same outfit as Abby wore in her 5 month shot. Look at these two sweeties!!

Macy Kate's Baby Dedication

When Macy Kate was born, as I held her in my arms when everyone left the room, I prayed and thanked God for Macy and for the privilege to be the one to get to be her Mommy. Macy is God's, we just get to have her on loan. ;)

We had Macy's baby dedication service at our church on March 20th. This is where we stated publicly that we will do everything we can to raise sweet Macy in a Christan home and pray for the day that she will come to know our Lord as her own personal Savior. And it's a time for our church family to pray with us for guidance in this journey. Such a sweet day!

Here we go, before the spotlight is on us. I'm praying at this point that Abby doesn't take off out of my arms and do major destruction to the stage.

Abby called this her princess dress! I refuse to beg her to look at the camera anymore. One day when she is 30 and looking over all of these pictures, she'll wished she had looked at the camera and smiled!

I totally just said, "just take the picture."

St. Patty's Day

St. Patty's Day was over Spring Break this year so we went ahead and dressed up for lunch with Daddy!! :)

I realized after I took these pictures that I didn't even have a green bow for them. I couldn't believe it. I thought I had EVERY color. Don't worry, we now have a green bow!!

Silly Sock and Stuff Animal Day

I love themed days at "school". It should have also been "chocolate milk in your sippy cup" day too! She would not put that cup down for a picture!!

I'll never forget her reaction to receiving NEMO from Santa this past Christmas. So so sweet. She was so excited!

This is a classic picture of Abby drinking out of a sippy cup. Once she starts, she does not put the cup down until it's gone! I'm not kidding. Who has time to breath? Not her! :)

Trip to the Aquarium

During Spring Break of this year, Andrea and I took the kids to the Dallas Aquarium. Abby loved it. I'm not sure if she loved it more than chasing the boys around, but she loves animals and this was right up her alley!

I took lots of pictures of all kinds of animals but seeing how I'm 1,017 pictures behind on updating my blog, they didn't make the post. But this manatee did. He was HUGE!! He swam right up to Drew. I tried to get Drew to kiss the window, but he wouldn't do it! LOL!!


This thing could have crushed our girl if he could get out of his tank. Not one ounce of her was scared though!

I love this picture. Look at Abby's face in the reflection on the glass. She loved watching the turtles.

Here comes that turtle again. The aquarium people should have charged us extra for all the hand prints she left.

This shot is so blurry....crazy camera...but I love it! Everyone was so being themselves!! No need to impress anyone in the shark tank.

I think this was a Cheetah. Abby would have gotten in that cage if I would have let her. Notice that Caden is no where to be found. :)

Macy Kate's first trip to the Aquarium was great. She slept most of the time but woke up at the end to pose for a picture!

We definitely need to take more trips like this!! :)

I miss blogging....

I've just been so busy lately and sooooo tired. MK still does not sleep well at night and when she goes to bed all I want to do is sleep too. I have a crazy amount of pictures on my camera and phone to go through...I'm not kidding, it's up to 900 now. UGH. Hopefully, someone will come over and watch the girls and I can just work on my blog and get all caught up. (hint, hint)
