She's 13 months old!!

My sweet girl is 13 months. I bet you all thought that I would stop doing these monthly posts after she turned 12 months....nope! I decided to not do the sign, but the posts will still continue. That is, as long Miss Abby will let me. She's getting so hard to photograph these days!

"Momma, that flash is too bright!"

"I'm tired of this already."

"okay, okay. Just one more."

"Does he need CPR? He's not moving."

Sweet girl - I can tell you have such the imagination these days. You play all the time and just talk away, regardless if I'm in the room or not. Speaking of not being in the room...the moment I walk out...you are into EVERYTHING. You can not be trusted to be alone! ;) You've changed so much lately. One of the biggest changes is you hold your own bottle. I was a little sad at first, but then was so proud of your independence. You hum and sing and dance to every song you hear. You love to wave hi and bye to everyone, especially when you see Minnie Mouse or the picture of your classmates on the fridge. You need to tell them "hi" everyday. It's also not uncommon for me to hear you say "hi" and "bye" when I'm on the phone with someone. You're getting pretty good at your sign language. When I say pretty good, I mean you do the sign for "more" for everything. Eat, more, please, etc. Your learning though.

I love to hold onto you. You love to give hugs, and that makes it that much more fun to hold you. I know you are growing up right before my eyes. I'm sure we will have tougher times ahead and I pray for God's guidance during those times. I've had to swat your hand twice now. Once for chewing on the phone charger and when I took it away, you bit me, and once for pushing all the buttons on the TV. I know that this is just part of the deal, but I'm praying everyday for you sweet angel to make good decisions. You love it when your friends come over or you go to see them. You love company. :) And I'll end with one of the sweetest things. Your teachers told me you literally crawled out of your pants the other day. LOL! You're still pretty tiny and your an expert crawler, which equals, crawling out of them! I loved it!
I love you sweet girl! Thank you for fun days, everyday! - love your Momma

Big Girl

We are striving to be off the bottle by 15 months. Last month, she started holding the bottle all by herself. This month, we will work on drinking cold milk, instead of me warming it each time. Next month, it will be drinking milk out of a sippy cup. Wish us luck!

Hold her own bottle......check

Fun in the Bubbles

You can ask Abby where is her head, knees, ears, eyes, nose, and belly and she will gladly show you. But her all-time favorite is when you ask her where is her tongue. She sticks out her tongue as far as she can, so so so cute!!

Look at this sweetness.
Her eyes are so precious to me.

"What are you laughing at?"

I got this new contraption to help me with washing Abby's hair and the water not getting in her eyes or ears. It REALLY works!
That is if she will leave it alone..... ;)

I think she likes the way it feels as a necklace.

She pulls it down the moment I release my hand off of it.

If you don't have one of these, they really do work. I promise!

First Mav's Game

Andrea had a birthday party at the Mav's game this past weekend. What a great first experience for Abby, watching the game in a suite!! Although I didn't see the game at all until the last quarter, we had a great time. I was fine though, all the food was on the inside. The only available seats left in the suite were inside where you couldn't see the game. Once people started trickling out, I made my way to a closer seat.

Abby with the Birthday girl

Abby loves her some Drew!

She had her eyes on her Nana the whole time.

"Mommy, can I go see Nana now?"

As the night went on, Abby started getting really tired. Here she is relaxing with Daddy. He was inside watching the OU game. She's took his phone away from him and was showing him the buttons on his shirt. He was also on the internet on his phone. (This boy can't just watch one game at a time.)

"Hey Drew, just text me! I got a new phone."

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and fell asleep in Uncle Dave's arms.

Looks like another one was asleep too.

Such a great time! I haven't been to a Mav's game in such a long time. It was great to be able to go again. Especially in "suite"style.

Danny comes to play!!

Abby and I kept sweet Danny on Saturday. She was so excited to have company. She wanted to show him all her toys and all the pictures of herself in our house. He loved every minute of it. He would laugh every time she did anything. He didn't care; he thought she was funny!

Here he is!!

Here's Abby on a break from playing with Danny. She needed to help Daddy eat his Popsicle.

"What? I don't have anything on my face."

Back to playing they went. This was classic.
Is she laughing back at him or scared of him?!?

He lounged towards her foot, and she was outta there!
She's not really fond of others touching her. Even if you go to grab her hand, she will instantly pull it back. ya know...princess style.

She loved his fuzzy blanket.
"Okay Danny. You can play with my green triangle."

Sweet sweet boy.

I just couldn't get enough of him. He was the perfect little boy. He did everything Jennifer said he would. played, napped, ate, watched football, etc. So great. He didn't fuss at all. We loved having him. Abby got a little jealous here and there, but overall she loved him too.

Come Back Soon, Danny!

Happy Halloween from Mario, Luigi and the little Lady Bug

Mario and Luigi came over to go Trick or Treating last night. The little Lady Bug ended up not going Trick or Treating with the boys. Once she realized that Nana was at her house, she was not leaving for anyone.

Here's our crew!!

"Mario, can I borrow your hat?"

"Luigi, what are you doing with that mustache?"

Every time I turned around these two were jumping and posing just like they were in the actual Nintendo game.

Things that were said over and over during our Trick or Treating Outing:
1. Say "Trick or Treat".
2. Don't double dip and get more candy.
3. Say "Thank You."
4. Walk on the sidewalk.
5. Don't be scared, he's only dressed up.
6. Nope, they are not home. (Even though I KNOW they were home because we saw them through the window.)
7. Drew, wait for Caden.
8. I'm not Caden, I'm Luigi.
9. No, they did not poison the candy.
and finally,
10. The dogs in our neighborhood do not have teeth.

Yep, she found the CANDY!!

I mean, seriously. I walked away for 5 seconds and this girl struck gold! Trick or Treating Candy!! I think she could smell the sweetness of all the Nerds and just couldn't help herself.

Here's what I had to pull out of my basket before we accidently passed this out.

Some things you just have to see for yourself.

Halloween Eve Dress

On Friday Abby wore her little Halloween dress to school. She looked so precious I had to take her picture. I tried to do a little fall photo shoot outside. Needless to say, it didn't turn out like I had hoped. ;)

She would NOT put down these berries.

Abby, I'm over here!! Hello.....
"Ha, I'm gonna win the I'm not going to look your way game!"

Still has berries in her hand and still NOT looking at the camera.

So finally, I put the camera underneath her face and just snapped the picture.

And the photo shoot ended, I was exhausted.
