Christmas in Greenville

We ended our Christmas Holiday in Greenville at my parents house.

Here's Abby getting a little one-on-one time with Nana.

Here's Caden with his Kung Fu Panda and Furious Five DVD's.

Here's Drew with his Big Trouble game.

Abby's been smiling so much lately. Every time I go to capture it with my camera, I'm a little late. But here's some of my efforts.

Here she is before we headed back home once again. Christmas Fun wore her out!!

Our first Christmas with Abby was wonderful. It's exciting to think that we will forever share Christmas' with her. I can't wait to watch her grow and for her to love Christmas as much as I do.

The Hat

What do you think??
Does she look like a Christmas Elf or Dr. Seuss' Cindy Who, from How the Grinch stole Christmas?

SANTA CAME!!!

We were so tired when we got home Christmas night, but were so excited to walk inside the house and see that SANTA came!!!

Here's Abby with her Santa gifts! Thank you Santa!!

"Abby you just lay there, we'll open them for you."

"Look Abby a DVD...just what you wanted!"

"Abby, you're gonna have to stay awake. We are not finished yet!"

"That monkey sure is loud."

"Look Abby, some more of your favorite pacifiers!"

Stan thought it would be cute to put all of Abby's gifts from her stocking all over her!

Thank you Santa!!!

Abby...did you enjoy your first Christmas in Edmond?

More Christmas pictures and posts to come soon!!

Christmas with Great-Grandmas

On Christmas day we drove up to go and see Abby's Great-Grandma's.

Here's our whole group. I kept having to stick Abby's paci in her mouth to calm her down, then take it out. She was pretty much tired of pictures at this point.

Here's the Wagnon Clan. I love how I looked at my camera the whole time. Others aren't really sure who to look to first. You can never go wrong by just smiling at your own camera.

I love this picture of Abby staring back up at her Granny.

We had a GREAT time in Okalahoma spending Abby's first Christmas with family.

Christmas in Edmond

Abby's first Christmas began with a road trip to Oklahoma. We bundled her up and hit the road on Christmas Eve Eve.

Here's Mackenzie meeting "her" Abby for the first time.

On Christmas Eve we opened up our presents. Here's the Grandkids, all in their Christmas Red.

Abby's Favorite OK Aunt...Aunt Jenny!

This is kinda how things go these days. I'm never paying attention, usually wondering what I have forgotten. Abby's wondering if we are EVER going to feed her again. And Stan is calm and ready to go.

Here's our 2008 Christmas Family Picture.

"I wonder if I give her a Cheeto will she stop crying?"

PaPa and Granny put Abby's Santa outfit on her for the night. The next morning was Christmas morning and we were heading out to see the Great-Grandmas. Little did Miss Abby know that Santa would still arrive at her house in Texas even though she wasn't there!

Merry Christmas!!

May God bless each of you this Christmas!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

9lbs and 1oz!

That's right!! She weighed 4 pounds and 15 ounces when we brought her home from the hospital and now she weighs 9 pounds and 1oz. She was 19 inches when she was born and now she is 22 inches. It's amazing how fast she is growing!!

I thought we were having pooping issues this week. She had an "explosive" poop at 5 pm on Thursday and did not poop again until we were about to walk out the door today. It was another EXPLOSIVE poop which called for an immediate quick bath in her spa, aka the sink. But, Dr. G said that this is normal for breast fed babies. They can really start to space out their poops around this age. Which is fine by us, but I would rather she not explode all over the place. That's not really lady-like.

He also said that we need to really try to be consistent and get her on a schedule. She's always been on a 3 hr schedule since she was born (eat, play, sleep) but it varies as to when we start each day. So, we are going to work on this. AND, he also said "No more rocking her to sleep." Awwhh...my sweet baby. I love to rock in the perfect rocking chair and I KNOW she does too. But, we have to be really prayerful about this and try to start letting her learn how to fall asleep on her own.

Our little angel is sleeping now. She had 4 shots today that we'd rather not remember. But she took them like a trooper.

3 Days until Christmas!!

5 Days until Christmas!!

Our friends April and Jason gave Abby this super cute reindeer outfit. It's a little big for her, but we just had to have her picture taken in it! You can tell that Abby was ready to take it off. :)

Two Months Old!!

Look who's getting bigger!!

Hehehe...I love this picture. She is definitely concentrating on reading that sign!

Hey Sweet Abby:
Oh wow, I can't believe how fast time is flying by. You've grown up so much this past month and you're getting bigger by the minute. We are learning so much about you. Here's a few of our favorites: *You LOVE to be held!!! *You are such the noise maker lately, grunting and groaning and the occasional TOOTING are a few of our favorite sounds and make us laugh. *You've cooo'd at me a couple of times. *You don't like wearing shoes or socks. You kick them off wherever we go. *Your daddy and I will do whatever it takes to make you smile. You've given us a grin a few times, I think that was just because you wanted us to stop, not that you thought we were funny. Trust me, we're funny! :) *You are getting better with sleeping at night. For example, here was our last night schedule......down at 8pm, up at 9pm, down at 11:30 pm, up at 4:30 am, down at 7am, up at 9am. At least there was one good 5 hour span in there! YAY for all of us! We are continuing to pray about nights full of lots of rest. *You've definitely outgrown all of your preemie outfits. You are way too long now. *You will make eye contact now with us. *You can wear hair bows! *You laugh in your sleep. *You've gone to Mother's Day out twice now and have done so good. *Your teachers LOVE you. *And one of my favorites....you take these super long blinks when you are tired or just annoyed with me trying to get you to smile.

I could sit here all day and write down all of my favorite things about you, but the list would be miles long. Sweetie, just know that you ARE our favorite! We love sweet girl!! - Love, Mommy & Daddy
