Big Girl Bed

Macy has slept in her cradle in our room since she was born. This is the first week that we have tried her big girl bed. She's actually done pretty good. She goes down around 7:30 or 8:00pm but still gets up every 3-4 hours to eat. We are working on it. Pray for us!

Macy Kate is FOUR Months OLD!!!!

This season in our life is going by so fast!!

Isn't she JUST Precious?!

She's like, "another picture?"

Of course, I don't do much these days without this little helper. Here she was as my photo assistant.

My little Macy Kate - You've turned four months old awfully fast on us! You've already rolled over, twice. When Abby rolled over I was so excited, when you did, I'll admit I was a little sad. You''re gonna roll over...crawl...walk...jump...and run out of this house before I know it. :( But, we are so proud of how you are growing. You're doing great!! At your 4 month dr appt you weighed 14.1lbs (75th%), was 24.8 inches long (75th-90th%) and your head measured at 15.8 inches around (25th%). The dr thinks you'll be as tall as Abby in the next few years. :) He instructed you to start Sleeping Through The NIGHT! I'm not sure that you were really listening to him because you still are an every three hour kinda girl. We are praying for long restful nights though! (Please Lord hear our prayers.)

You are grabbing toys, loving your musical gym, and laughing every once in a while. Rice Cereal and you sleeping in your own bed are on the agenda for this next month. So far, you're doing great with both! You are going to "school" now and for the most part (as long as I'm back every 3 hours) you're good to go. :) And how could I forget, your slobbery smiles are truly the best!!

Let's Walk Mommy!

My little mini-me!! I love it so much. Because Macy Kate was in the stroller, Abby HAD to take her baby in the stroller too on our walk. Oh, and the glasses and necklace were incase she saw anyone she knew out! LOL!! She needed to look her best!

She has such a fun personality. I love her so much!! I had to beg her to take this picture with me. She wanted to walk her baby and wanted me to follow along. She was way to busy to stop for a photoshoot.

My Sweet Granny Jewel

My sweet Granny Jewel passed away on February 11th and was buried on February 14th. Oh how I miss her dearly. I could sit here and write for days all the things that I remember and loved about Granny. And then once it's all written down, I could go on and on about the things to add to the list. She was Wonderful. Such a Jewel. But all in all, the perfect Granny!!

Here's my sweet Granny holding her namesake, Abby Jewel. Abby was only a few hours old in this picture. I kept Abby's name a secret until we had her, because I didn't want Granny to talk me out of naming her after her. :)

And then here is Granny meeting Macy Kate for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend 2010. Such a precious time for me. She didn't care about anyone else in the room that day, just wanted to hold the new baby. :) I went away from there knowing that Macy and Abby wouldn't ever know Granny like I did, but thankful for the wonderful grandparents that they have! They will make memories that they will treasure in their hearts, as I have with Granny.

She's Stylin'

Our little Tinkerbell is sportn' a new hair do.

Ohhh, me. She makes me laugh. I'm not sure what I think of this new do. Does it remind you of a baby dinosaur or is it just me? Either way, she LOVES it. She'll ask me, "two ponys mommy? one here (pointing to the back of her head) and here? (pointing on top)" I think she likes it so much because the hair is completely out of her face and off of her neck. It's a freeing feeling! :)
