Andrea's visit to help with Macy

When Macy was 6 days old Andrea came over to help out. Stan was out of town and she came to help Abby get to and from school and hold sweet Macy the rest of the time. She was a lifesaver. She needs to make this a weekly habit! :)

Aunt Dobber, do you recongize the outfit? You gave this one to Abby and now Macy is wearing it! So sweet.

I can't find the picture of Abby wearing the outfit, but I do have it....plus, I have so many more blogs to get posted, I don't have time to hunt it down. LOL!

Macy's 1st Dr Appts

Here she was packed up and ready for her first outing...to the dr. It was her weight checkup during the first week. She was 5 days old here!

She's not too sure what is about to happen here.

"Daddy, why did you lay me down on this funny sounding paper?"

"Are we finished yet? Can I go home now?"

At 5 days old she weighed 6lbs and 10oz (weighed 7lbs and 6oz at birth)

At her two week checkup she weighed 7lbs and 5oz and was 20.3 inches long (19 inches long at birth)

At her one month checkup she weighed 8lbs 9oz and was 21.3 inches long. We've got a growing girl on our hands, who according to the dr is going to be pretty and tall just like her big sister. :)

She's such a GREAT Big Sister!!

"I'll hold it!"

This was the first time that Abby held her sweet baby sister! "I'll hold it!" That was her way of saying, "Can I hold her?" :)

I love how Macy's crying does not bother Abby at all. She just sits there and watches her. We have been so blessed that she has been so good around Macy. Usually the jealously comes out whenever her Granny or Nana hold the baby. But other than that, she has been great!! She's such a great Big Sister!!

Happy 2nd Birthday sweet ABBY!!!

Abby's birthday was on Oct 19th. We decided to have her birthday party on the 24th because our families were coming over that day to also attend Stan's Deacon Ordination service that evening. It lucked out that little Macy arrived on the 21st so she was able to attend the party too!

This year's theme: TINKERBELL!!! :)

I was pleasantly surprised at how the cake turned out. Thank you Tom Thumb!

Immediately, she crawled right into her chair that Andrea got her. She loves it! Not a day since has gone by that she hasn't sat, jumped,crawled in this chair. :)

She was too thrilled that Caden took her Mario.

Tinkerbell Purse!!

Nana gave Abby this Minnie Mouse card that sang Happy Birthday. She played with it so much, that sadly Minnie no longer sings.

Baby Doll accessories.....or as she says, "Macy Kate's Stuff"

We got her this baby that tee-tee's in the potty. I was hoping this would encourage her to do the same.

Here's the stroller that we got her for her new baby dolls. She loves it. So much so that she likes to sit in it herself. It has already had to be repaired by our seamstress...aka, Nana.

Daddy's help was needed with the candles. Evidently so was Tinkerbell's. She helped so much that she ended up in the icing.

Oh my sweet girl. I can't believe that she is already 2. God has blessed us so much by giving us such a sweet, loving, pretty girl! :)

Because I had just had the baby, our party was really small, just family....and Jessica's family. Here's Abby with her only friend at the party. :) Abby and Christopher.

And we're home!!

Nana met us at the house with Abby when we came home from the hospital. Here's Abby letting Nana hold both of her Macy Kate's. ;) All of her dolls are now named Macy Kate. I'm not sure who she is talking about now when she says Macy Kate. It could be one of five baby dolls or the real Macy Kate. :)

We have some adjusting to do. She thinks she is still the baby and can fit in the baby's car seat. Look how big she is!

Silly Daddy

We are home how! Been home for a few weeks now. Just trying to get caught up on pictures!! :)

Last day in the hospital

I couldn't stop taking her picture. We were bundled up and ready to head home. She is still just as sweet as she looks in these pictures!!

All visitors had to get name badges before entering. Looks like some guy named Otis came to see our Macy Kate. :)
