Here's Abby as we arrived in our room.
She loved this little throw pillow.
We walked around after dinner the first night and enjoyed the view. Here's a sculpture along the river. I don't know much about it. But, I do know that you could use it as a landmark to find the nearest McDonald's.
My two little loves.
Oh my. This girl LOVED this mirror. Every time I turned around, she was kissing on this mirror. She found a pretty little friend in the mirror and was just mesmerized by her.
I ordered room service one night while Stan was at a game. Abby and I were playing on the floor and I decided to clean up. I got up and put my room service tray outside. Then, the horror, the door shut behind me. Locked. I was outside with no key and Abby was inside playing. And I was barefoot!! I took off in a sprint down to the lobby, grabbed a bellman. He was able to open the door and she was safe and sound. And of course, she was standing in front of the mirror that she loved enjoying the view.
And guess what, she LOVED it. I brought her own sheets and blankets, to help her adapt. No need, she loved this metal jail framed crib.
Here's a little pic taken before we headed off to the Alamo.
I realized later that this was on her actual 11 month Bday!
I went to see the Alamo when I was little, but I don't really remember it. Stan has seen it as an adult and didn't care to go back. But, with Team Spirit, we went!

So cute! Looks like y'all had a fun time! And, who wouldn't want to stare in the mirror all day long when you've got something adorably cute smiling back at you?! ;)
