Caden's in trouble again

Sweet Caden.....seriously, I don't see how Andrea can keep a straight face sometimes.

6 Months old!!

Guess who just turned 6 months old?!!

We went to Nana's church on her half birthday. Little Miss was all dressed up for the occasion. She had to be though....the last time she was there, she was the star of the Christmas Cantata, playing Baby Jesus.

Of course, another month goes by and I have to take the monthly picture with the bear. She wasn't quite ready to cooperate. But she gave in to my begging.

"Hey, it's you again."

"Please, no more pictures!"

Dear Abby:

Oh sweetheart. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were bringing you home from the hospital. And now, you are 6 months old. I'm so happy that you are a happy, healthy baby. But I'm sad that time has flown by so fast.

You've been doing such a great job at sleeping in your big crib. You still wake up every once in a while, but we are so proud of you. Oh and your laugh is Amazing! I could sit and listen to it all day. And yes, I will do whatever it takes sometimes just to hear you giggle. You eat your rice cereal now, you are not crazy about it, but you'll do it for me. I'm sure we'll learn tomorrow that we can start feeding you baby food now. I'm excited for you, but sad for me. Before I know it, you'll be feeding yourself, then picking out your own food, then cooking for yourself...seriously...I can't handle this. You are growing up WAY too fast!

You can blow bubbles, although you forget how to every once in a while. You give the best kisses in the world. You'll grab my hair with one hand and my neck with the other and slobber all over my face. It's great! You recognized your Daddy's voice tonight on the phone. You got so excited and started kicking your feet and grinning from ear to ear. We went for a walk tonight and you talked to me the whole way. I hope that you continue to do this forever. I'm yours sweetie....you can talk to me anytime you want.

Abby's Baby Dedication

This post is way overdue!! Two weekends ago we had Abby's Baby Dedication at our church. It was a time that we dedicated our lives to raising her in a loving Christian home in front of our immediate and church family.

She did great in front of all those people!

As soon as it was over, we took her to Joyland. Little Miss was already asleep. We worn her out!

Happy Birthday Audrey!!

This past weekend Abby went to her first birthday party. Little Miss Audrey turned ONE!!

Abby took to Robyn and Roel right away. It was so neat to watch her. We hadn't seen them since she was born. I think she just knows good people when she sees them.

Easter Hat and Easter Ham!!

This was Baby Girl's 1st Easter!! It was such a sweet little day. We enjoyed every minute of it, from the Easter Hat to the Easter Ham I made!

Here we are at Church. Our friend, Sarah took this picture for me. As you can see, Baby Girl was more than ready to head home and check on our Ham!

(drum roll please) Ladies and Gentlemen!!!!! Here it is...my first cooked Ham! YUM!! Please don't give me a hard time about picking out the largest Ham in the store. Someone you all know very well is taking care of that. Honestly, I never even looked at the size. I was just proud that it really was a Ham and not a turkey or something else.

My sweet girl. She loves her bath so much. Lately though, I can't bathe her fast enough because every time I turn around, she has her FOOT in her MOUTH! :)

And yes, her swirl has gone a little hay-wire.

Craig and Amanda

Last weekend our dear friends Craig and Amanda came over to spend the weekend with us. We had such a great time. Abby was able to see for the first time how Craig and her daddy act when they are together. I tried to warn her, but she refused to believe the craziness.

Amanda, Abby and I went shopping and the boys played golf. It was great!!

Loudest in her Class

"Okay Mom, she's officially the loudest baby in the class."

This is how I was greeted on Tuesday when I picked up Little Miss from school. Are you kidding me?! How can this precious, sweet face, little perfect baby be the loudest in her class?

She thought it was so funny that her teacher would even say that.

Guess who went to bed last night at 9:00pm in their own crib, only got up ONCE to eat at 12am and then decided to sleep peacefully until 8:15am???!!!
