Dear Abby....

You're laying in my lap sleeping in the most peaceful way. It's a sight that would bring tears to any Momma. Definitely brings tears to me. It's been two weeks and two days and I just smile when I think we get to keep you forever. You are such a joy to us. I hope that you will someday know how much you are loved. But more importantly how much God loves you. God's love has been revealed to me in a whole new way since you've arrived. My heart pours with love over you and to think that God loves you and me more than that is pretty amazing.

I left you in good hands for the first time this weekend. I went Trick-or-Treating with Drew and Caden. It was only for about 45 minutes and I left you with your Daddy, Nana and Pops, but I still just wanted to hurry home and see for myself that you were just fine. You slept the whole time and never knew I disappeared. I know as time goes on, leaving you will get easier, but my prayers for you while I'm away will never stop.

We go to the dr tomorrow for your 2 week appointment. I have a list that is 2 pages long of questions. I hope that it is a great appointment with our questions being answered and us learning more about your little self.

Your Daddy is asleep now, as are you, so I better try to lay you down in your cradle. But know that I'm in my favorite place in the whole world. I've got your Daddy laying next to me on my right and you are laying on my chest. Both sleeping so sound and so peaceful. Love you like crazy - Your Momma
