New Poll

Just for fun!....... I put a new poll up to see what you think Baby Girl Wagnon will look like!!!

Will she have Blonde hair and Blue eyes, like her Daddy? Will she have Red hair and Green eyes, like her Mama? Will she have Red hair and Blue eyes, to be a mixture of us both? Or will she have Brown hair and Brown eyes, like her Nana?

Let me know what you think!!

To Granny's we went

On the way to Fairfield on Saturday, Caden found these "Planet" stickers in the car and thought they were the coolest things in the world.

Andrea: Caden sit DOWN! I'm not going to tell you again.

Caden: I can't. I'm a Rocket.

We had a great time just hanging out with family while playing 42 and Yahtzee. Just catching up with one another. I had proof that Aunt Rena actually got the boys to calm down a bit and listen to one of her stories, but the video was too large to post. But this is for her, she won the bet! She got them to be "somewhat" quite and still for 5 minutes.

12 weeks to go!!!

That's it!!!!?? Only 12 more weeks!! This is for everyone who keeps asking me, "So, how's it going?....Is the baby's room finished yet?" UGH....... Are you kidding me!?! We've barely started the baby's room. No, the room isn't finished yet. No, the bed hasn't come in yet. And Yes, I understand we only have 12 weeks to go! Maybe if I could get around a little faster and didn't waddle around I would be able to get more things done. :) I just tell them what S told me. "Look, who cares if everything's not ready. We'll just hold her until we finished everything. She doesn't need her own bed or bedroom, she can use ours!" I love him!

Here's what we do have for little Baby Girl Wagnon. And yes, as of right now, this is ALL we have! LOL! Thankfully, my co-workers, family, friends and church family are so kind that they will all be throwing us showers in Sept and Oct! And we will be getting tons of Mackenzie's hand-me-downs!! YAY!! Thanks everyone! We are so looking forward to it all!

Jessica gave Baby Girl her first little gift!

Then came a gift from my friend Jennifer at work!

Here' s a couple of things that we bought her. A little Yankee's tee from Yankee Stadium and a little white outfit from Gap.

This was a purchase from last weekend. Must haves! The little Lamb outfit has little slippers for shoes and the "I heart my Daddy" was too cute!

Here's her little mattress.

And here's her Changing Table that came in this week and S put it together for me!

So, yes, that's it!! I know, I know.....WE ONLY HAVE 12 WEEKS TO GO!!!!

Caden's 5th Birthday

Sunday afternoon we had Caden's "Kung Fu Panda" 5th birthday party at McDonalds. Yes, in the same McDonald's that I fell in and swore I would never go back. Everything was Kung Fu Panda. I should have probably watched the movie before going to this event. I think I was the only attender who had no idea what the names of the characters were.

Here's how I was greeted when I showed up. My two nephews in Kung Fu Panda masks!! They couldn't fool me though, I knew all along who they were. Drew is wearing the cat and Caden was all about the tiger. In case you couldn't tell, I am the one in the Panda mask. I thought the round face and the chubbiness of the panda fit me perfectly!

The party could not possibly begin until little Miss HollyBrown showed up. She is Caden's new "thing".

Before they got all messy with the cupcake icing, here's:
Caden, HollyBrown and Dilan.

Little Cheyenne

Some day Caden will think this picture is funny. I made him pose with my present. Notice anything....I re-gifted a wedding sack from our wedding, 2 years ago. I have got to get rid of all of them!!

Notice who is right beside Caden's side.....HollyBrown.

At the end of the day, we had to say our good-bye's. I think she got a little close, but who am I...I'm just the favorite Aunt!

Happy Birthday big boy! I absolutely can NOT believe that you are 5 years old now. I hope you had a wonderful birthday party and have a great day at your first day of Pre-school today. I love you!!

Prayers for Niki

Please take a moment to say a prayer for my sweet friend Niki. I met Niki through a Bible Study 5 years ago. She has been such a perfect friend to me. She's so kind, such a strong mentor, genuine in everything, and she even laughs at my jokes. We've studied, prayed, laughed, cried and even ran a marathon together.

Niki and her husband are expecting their first baby boy, Baby Caleb. They have recently found out that Niki has Cholestasis, which only occurs in about 1 in 1,000 pregnancies. It's a liver disease that only comes about in pregnancy and causes the mom to itch severely all over and could cause the baby to eventually go into distress. Niki is under great care from her doctors and gets to have sonograms as many times as she wants them. :) The downside is that she has to constantly count Baby Caleb's movement all day, everyday. If for any reason she feels he isn't moving enough, off to the doctor they go. Because of all of this, she will be induced no later than Oct 14th, her original due date was Nov 4th.

Please pray that baby Caleb will continue to grow healthy and strong. Also, pray that the doctors will know the absolute perfect timing to bring baby Caleb into this world, even if it is before Oct 14th. We are all so anxious to meet him!!

We love you Nikilou and are praying for you!!!

Words from my baby's Daddy

"When I was little, I didn't even have a crib. I slept on the floor on top of two couch cushions. Which meant, I wasn't even allowed to go to bed until my dad finished watching TV and got up off the couch. Then he would put the cushions on the floor and I would to go sleep. I'm serious, just ask my mom!"

Don't worry readers, I don't believe a word he says. I think he just wants me to call his mom at all hours of the day/night and ask her if these crazy stories are true. I'm not fallin' for it!

Caden hears the baby talk

Caden: Jill, what's in your belly?

Jill: (Even though we go through this every time I see him, I think he still needs confirmation that she is still there.) My baby..the baby girl.

Caden: Oh. She's inside there?

Jill: Yep, she'll be in there until around Thanksgiving.

(Then he stands up and puts his little ear against my belly as if he was going to listen to her say something.)

Jill: What is she saying?

Caden: She said, she's just gonna stay in there...in your belly.

Jill: Oh, did she? Okay then.

Isn't the imagination of a 4 yr old so sweet?!

25 weeks

Only 15 more weeks to go!! Oh my goodness....I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I'm afraid that after she gets here and we get to hold her, I'll be saying the same thing. Before I know it she'll be 1, then 5, then graduating from High School, then she'll probably go to the Olympics in her favorite sport (she'll qualify for 2-3 I'm sure), then graduating college, then medical school, then getting married, then having her own babies.....ugh.....they grow up so fast!! Am I weird that I'm already thinking like this and she is still in my womb?

This is what my email said today about how big she is growing:
"Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture."

I immediately got out a ruler and held it up to my stomach and almost passed out! Whoa....13 1/2 inches LONG.....that's bigger than my 12 inch ruler. And what in the world is a rutabaga?? I definitely wasn't fed those at Granny's or at home growing up. I'm not even sure that it is a food. Since I didn't have any rutabagas here at my desk at work, I started picking up things that I thought weighed 1 1/2 pounds, my stapler, tape dispenser, calculator (definitely too heavy), etc. Then I started wondering if she would have red hair or would it be blonde like S was when he was little? Not that I can do anything about her hair color, just wondering.

We took S's parents to the Rangers vs. Yankees game tonight. It was a bazillion degrees outside and I kept having to get up and walk around to get some breeze. I'm sure the fan shop workers thought I was a shoplifter or something as many times as I walked in there. I did buy the cutest Rangers maternity shirt. I'll take a picture of me wearing it and post it soon. So cute!

Today's Dr. Appt

We had another dr. appt today. It went great as usual. Baby Girl's little heart is beating at 152 beats per minute. I was a little more prepared at this visit. This time I had actually written down all of my questions. I left there with a few more things added to my to-do list....like finding a pediatrician!! Ugh....we have to call them. Make an appt. Interview them. See if they take our insurance. Will they be at the hospital when I deliver? If not, then I have to contact another one that will be there the week she is born. Seriously, Ma and Pa didn't go through all of this when Laura Ingalls was born. Too many options and decisions. I'm not going to stress though, I'll just take things one thing at a time. Right now, my focus is finishing my registry and the garage sale this weekend. Okay, well that is two things, but that's pretty good for me.

Speaking of garage sale. If you are in the area this weekend and want to come by and buy all my stuff. Feel free!!!

I have to drink that stuff for the gestational diabetes test for the next visit. Yum.... Then after that, we start seeing the dr every two weeks for my appts. It's getting closer!!
