I can't believe we only have 5 more weeks until our due date!!! I had a sonogram this morning and the dr thinks the baby is weighing about 5 pounds and 1 ounce. She is growing so much!!
My dr informed me this morning that she would probably induce me around week 38, which will be Nov 5th. I will definitely be here in the hospital until then. But, that is only THREE more weeks! It's hard to imagine that in 3 weeks or less our lives will be forever changed with this new little one. She also said there is a 70% chance that the baby will need to be delivered early because something in my body will be triggered due to the high blood pressure and it will be time. If not, then week 38 will be the big week for us!
My pastor called me today and prayed for Stan, me, and the baby. His prayer quickly became my prayer for the rest of the day. He prayed that God would allow me to treasure this time of bed rest and look back on it as a time that I enjoyed because I became closer to Him.
Thanks to so many people, today has been a good day. So many people have called, sent emails and even come by. Thank you for your encouragement, prayers and kindness.
PS. Stan will be home tomorrow night!! YAY!

Jillie! I can't believe you're 35 weeks already! And I can't believe I'm still at work, and haven't come to see you yet! :(
Your pastor's prayer really was a sweet one. Helps us put things in perspective.
As hard as it is to be on bed rest, you really should be thankful to actually have the ability to slow your life down a bit. I secretly wish for that myself. (don't tell!)
GIRL! Praying for you! It's nuts that you're there but what a relief that you know that you're in good hands! :) ...And, I agree with Jessica and your pastor...enjoy this time!!! Even though motherhood will be the most magical thing ever, it is so tiring...and you'll NEVER be able to have this restful time again! Read a book, take long showers, and watch movies! :) Let me know if there's anything we can do!!!
I am so glad that you and Baby Girl are resting and healthy! I think your pastor is right... you never know if there will be someone that needs to see Christ there in the hospital and He uses you and Baby Girl for that purpose there.
That sounded "churchy"! ;)
PS.. I erased my last comment.. I was logged in as the hubbie.
What do you know, maybe Peach will be born on Caleb's original due date! (That's Nov 4) I'm glad you're feeling better about bed rest - enjoy the little kicks inside you!
Jill! You're having a baby! I'm glad that you have such a wonderful support system of friends and family. As everyone else has said, definitely try to enjoy this restful time. (Says the chick who can't stand to sit still for very long).
p.s. You can tell me the name. I promise I'll keep it a secret! ;)
